My client are a revolutionary health food manufacturer, producing high quality health drinks that are really shaking up the category. They have an excellent reputation for working in partnership with both their suppliers and customers and put their people at the very centre of the strategy to ensure their continued success.
Due to their recent growth and position in the market, they have created an opportunity for a Business Development Executive to drive new business and raise brand awareness across a London territory.
- Introduce the product range to new potential customers across a range of markets – especially coffee shops, independent retailers, Deli’s and wholesalers.
- Act as a brand role model to build brand awareness and secure new business through negotiations and closing sales.
- Ensure a robust pipeline at all times while also building key customer relationships.
- Day to day account management of the product range with revenue growth and brand presence being key objectives of the role.
- Assist in sampling and giveaway campaigns.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate forecasting and ordering.
- Strong entrepreneurial flair and demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
- Previous experience of selling into coffee shop chains or food/drink sales are essential.
- Degree educated is a desirable but not essential.
- Self-motivated with the desire to look and find new business opportunities.
- Able to manage your own time and workload as well as manage several projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a desire to be hands on in the role and involved in every aspect of the business.
- Highly organised with a flexible approach to working.
- Ambitious and passionate about working with major retailers.
